TNT’s Legends has been renewed—and Sean Bean’s character is still alive.
The cable network has given the spy show a second season, ordering another 10 episodes expected to launch next year. Moreover, this means the executable former Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Missing star finally gets to stick around for awhile in a U.S. show.
Perhaps the bigger surprise is the show itself is still alive — TNT has been on a cancelation streak lately, having recently axed Perception, Dallas and Franklin & Bash.
Legends is based on a book by Robert Littell and stars Bean undercover FBI agent who can transform himself into a completely different person for each job. The first season of Legends averaged 3.2 million viewers including DVR.
